If you’re under the impression that America is the land of the clean living, then reserve judgment if you’re planning a meeting in Las Vegas.
We’ve just returned from a meeting that we organised in the entertainment capital of the world and not only was smoking permitted throughout the hotel and casino, but the hotel had such a dog friendly policy that it wasn’t unusual to find pampered pooches running around reception.
British Airways now offer a direct flight to Vegas, so if you’re considering it as a destination for a meeting it’s worth checking your hotel’s smoking and dog policies, so you can pre-warn delegates who have allergies or a strong dislike of tobacco smoke or four legged furry friends.
