Oxford International Event Management

Three more appointments (12/11/2008)

We are pleased to welcome Nadine Rakewitz, Kelly Hancock and Hannah Cook to our team:

Nadine, Hannah and Kelly.

Nadine Rakewitz recently joined us as an Account Manager on the Celgene team. She will also play a valuable role in the organisation of St. James’s Place’s events. Nadine, who has moved from Germany to join Oxford International, is already familiar with our business. She previously worked for our chosen DMC (destination management company) in Berlin. With over eleven years of experience in event management and three languages under her belt, Nadine is a welcome addition to our events team.

In September we also welcomed Kelly Hancock, who joins us on a year’s contract, replacing Rachael Karpa who is now on maternity leave. Kelly, whose mother used to work at Oxford International fifteen years ago (we like to keep it in the family!) is an Account Manager, working on our ICON, Pfizer, Takeda and Celgene accounts. With extensive event management and hospitality experience, Kelly is already proving to be an invaluable asset to the team.

As a company we are committed to supporting Eventia’s education programme. Eventia is our industry association and John Walker, our MD, heads up its education programme. One of his key initiatives seeks to develop relationships and promote educational opportunities with universities that offer event related courses. As part of this initiative Hannah Cook recently joined us on a one year experiential placement from the University of Gloucestershire.
