“Please say a big thank you to all of your team for their massive contribution towards this event. This was our first event at The O2 and was a big ask for all of us, but as always you and your team came up trumps and delivered.”

BACKGROUND
St. James’s Place (SJP) is one of the UK’s leading wealth management organisations. Its Annual Company Meeting (ACM) is a one day conference attended by 3000 delegates, followed by a Partners’ Dinner for 1200 guests.
This was the third consecutive year that Oxford International has organised and managed the event for SJP.
OBJECTIVES
The objectives of SJP’s ACM are to:
- Report on achievements from the previous year
- Present new initiatives and communicate plans
- Recognise and reward individual performance
SJP required an event management company to organise and manage the venues and the comprehensive logistics and communication requirements for this important annual event. The venues needed to be impressive and the coordination and communication professional and faultless. Timescales also needed to be managed very carefully because deadlines for a number of elements involved were very tight.
SOLUTION
The O2 Arena was selected for the meeting venue. It was not only new and exciting, but it offered easy access and could accommodate 3000 delegates in one intimate auditorium. Oxford International worked closely with the client, the venue staff and the production company to ensure a seamless and professional delivery of all elements of the event. Following the success of the 2008 ACM, Oxford International is currently organising SJP’s 2009 ACM.
